I'm so happy I could cry, But I can't even wet an eye. In a mirror, I do see Someone there that looks like me. My hand floats towards my face, Brushing it like the softest lace. My twin reaches up as well, showing that she is parallel. My heart resides in the touch, Numb and cold from feeling too much. I search harder than is wise, To find someone behind those eyes. A Bruise A bruise gleams brightly on the creature's fair skin, black as the night, or a monster's sly grin. Give it awhile, and it'll lose it's great shine, to become the purple of a tall glass of wine. The more time elapses, the more it will mellow, until it's a decaying pale sort of yellow. The final colour is a sick shade of green. It's the nastiest colour that I've ever seen. The bruise is long gone, but if I look, I still see, the shadow of a bruise, lurking in me.

I get to go to Tokyo in two days with a couple of my classmates! I'm so excited! We'll be gone for two weeks and get to go to Disneyland and Mt. Fuji!! OMG! And I still haven't scanned my recent scribblies in yet. It's been like...four months? Oh well. I'm so excited!!
